There are Few Quality, Family Owned Furniture Dealers in California But I Found One

Bedroom set

You know what I need? I need new furniture. Yup, I think that it is that time. All of this thrift store and garage sale piecemeal mess just does not do it for me anymore. I am a big boy. I have my own house, my own mortgage, my own real job. If I ever want to bring any of the ladies over, I will lose respect points when they see the sad little mishmash that is my furniture. It is high time that I venture out and invest the money in some reliable and high quality product that will last both me and my grandchildren our whole lives.

No, none of those big box stores sell anything of quality. They have all of that particle board stuff that you stick the pegs into, and then just wedge it all together. It stays sturdy for about a year, but then a corner falls off, the facing cracks. No, I need an actual furniture store. One that will sell a living rooms set, for example. One that is established and has been around forever. You know they are good if they have survived since, like, 1986 or so. Oooh, and one that is family owned and operated would be nice. That means that they still have their values.

I think I will need one with multiple locations in California, though. My job makes me travel a bit, and I can go in and do some shopping on down time. The cities that I frequent the most for work, and it would be super convenient if the furniture store had locations at each, are (in alphabetical order) Delano, Dinuba, Fresno, Madera, Porterville and then Tulare.

And I kind of need a lot of furniture. Like, pretty much every bit of furniture for my house. Well, I definitely know that I need a living rooms set. Oh, and then a dining set to go on the living rooms set. And then a bedroom set. And a mattress for that one. For the living room I definitely need a good entertainment set. And to go in front of that a nice, big, squishy couch. And I guess I can throw a love seat in front of the bay window. What do you think? Do you know of any place that I can go that meets those criteria?

  1. it is surprisingly difficult to find a business that is family run and offers a great quality product. and it is so nice to actually finally find one. the fact that they are still quality and have expanded is really impressive

  2. yeah, it is also hard to find good furniture anymore. does not matter which part of the house it belongs, it is always crappy particle board that will splinter and crumble at the slightest bit of pressure.
